Once Upon A Time…
There was a little critter named Ava Lee.
Born and raised in the magical kingdom of Long Island, she was fully entranced in the world of sports. But one day as just a wee babe, she got bit by the theatre bug…
At just 4 years old, Ava Lee gallivanted around her living quarters and wrote her hit song, “The Paper Song”. From that day forward, singing loud & proud became a daily routine…
As the years passed, music and performing became more prominent in her life. While Ava Lee fiddled around with her lacrosse stick, dribbled a few basketballs around the court, and blocked a few spikes at the net, she then submerged herself in piano, violin, and dance lessons because she didn’t think her days were busy enough…
After years of making people laugh from her made up songs, shaking her tail feathers around in tutus, and tapping her troubles away, Ava Lee thought it was time to put all those things together and get up on a stage…
Ava Lee’s first real production was when she was cast in the musical CATS! The excitement that filled little Ava Lee’s body when she got to paint her face, make her own costume, and struggle to comb her hair for a week after teasing it was unreal…
Thank you to the wonderful Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ava Lee was never going to leave the Jellicle Ball (aka the theatre industry)! From then on, Ava Lee jumped at any musical theatre opportunity she could get her new Jellicle paws on…
Ava Lee was very fortunate to end her final year of high school studying Musical Theatre at the Long Island High School for the Arts, which helped launch her into her conservatory journey at CAP21 Molloy University…
Today, Ava Lee is a proud graduate of CAP21 Molloy University’s BFA in Musical Theatre program! She is very excited to continue her passion of spreading joy, love, laughter, and all the magical jazz hands & spirit fingers humanly possible to audiences and artists across the globe!
Her story continues…
